Crowdfunding in Brazil - Someone thinks it is possible
I'm generally skeptical about crowdfunding in Brazil at this time and under the current regulations.
But two lawyers have published an article today at Valor, a Brazilian business newspaper, describing how the Brazilian Securities & Exchange commission's rules for small investments can be used for crowdfunding.
I still think the procedures would be too bureaucratic and restrained to fit the usual model of crowdfunding through a website. But it is good to know that other lawyers are more confident than I am.
The link for the article (in Portuguese, sadly) is http://www.valor.com.br/legislacao/3793514/investimento-coletivo-nas-startups-nacionais.
